Beth Shalom News - 07.09.2017

*     During the refurbishment there will only be one toilet available which is upstairs in the Hebrew School area. For those who find stairs a challenge this is a reminder.

*     The construction area has a “No Go” warning for the entire period of the refurbishment. It is a building site now and Beth Shalom is responsible under the new Health & Safety rules so please keep away from the zone.

*     Hall Doors: Due to current code requirements the existing timber hall doors were unable to be re-used. The renovations committee, with help from our contractor, have re-sited the glass panel above these doors and this now has pride of place in the hall wall. However, the two hall doors are surplus and we are offering them to anyone who would like them. They are solid timber and very sturdy and we would be delighted to give them to a good home. Please contact Christine if this is of interest to you.

*     As you can now see the renovations are almost complete. However, please do not use toilets, basins, kitchen sinks until the project is fully completed and has passed inspection. The area is still considered a building site with some items yet to be fitted/connected and the necessary testing to be carried out.

*     The refurbishment project is being funded exclusively by your donations and pledges a third of which you will get back in your tax! Please contact the office for bank details and other ways of donating.
